  • What led you to comedy?

I had a passion for entertainment at large. From music to dancing, acting and also directing. My love for comedy was born out of a strong desire to see smiles and laughter being evident in the lives of people. I also act professionally both on stage and on screen. I just finished playing a comic character in a movie titled “AJUWAYA”.

  • What has been the most challenging experience for you in the comedy arena?

The most challenging experience for me in the comedy industry is trying to build a brand of consistency that would stand the test of time and still maintain efficient relevance as the future rolls on.

  • Who has been your most supportive comedian in the industry?

The most supportive comedian in the industry to me is Teju Babyface whom I happen to be his floor manager in the Teju Babyface SHOW. I have a couple of other senior colleagues I hold in high esteem. Comedians like Helen Paul whom I was her Creative Director in the HELEN PAUL PRODUCTION some time back. My love and respect also goes to AY, MC Abbey, Omo Baba, Segun Dangote and a host of Comedians of the Federal Republic (CFR).

  • How long have you been in the comedy business?

Well I have been in the comedy business since 2005 till date and still counting.

  • Can you say that the comedy business encourages young up and coming comedians?

Very well! The comedy business encourages up and coming comedians or fast rising comedians in great ways. I would say categorically that it’s only the comedy industry that gives the most encouraging platform for up and coming comedians. You see comedy shows and platforms like the AY SHOW, the Teju Babyface Show, Stand Up Nigeria by Bunmi Davis and many others, giving support and encouragement to comedians.
